GRAPHICS - A study has identified the most discussed topics by users when planning their trips.
Vacations are not about to be taken lightly. What are discussing users on specialized travel sites? They exchange tips, most of the time, according to Allianz Global Assistance #HELPME study of 11 countries (Australia, Austria, China, Spain, USA, France, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, United Kingdom).
In France, prospective vacationers looking for the best value, ie packages "all inclusive" (hotel + flight + train or hotels). Of the 299,404 messages exchanged, some put elsewhere in the next sheet from the adventure after bad experiences with tour operators or hotels whose conditions were not up to standard. Similarly, the French are seeking advice on cruises (298,757 posts).
Transportation and Airlines in third place of their concerns as they hoisted on top in the top 10 European and worldwide (see infographic below). The questions on the sites are on airlines, airplanes, airports but also on luggage (some airlines including low cost requiring sizes and weight regulations in the cabin if the passenger will have to pay a fee), as well as objects prohibited ( click here to see the graphics of prohibited items in the cabin of a plane from France).
In fourth place ranking hexagonal (and 9th in the world), we find the work, study and life abroad. The questions asked by young people often refer to varieties of long stay visa, accommodation facilities, the standard of living, economic conditions, particularly in European countries such as Italy, the Netherlands and France .
What also emerges at international and European level is looking for a travel companion (in second position but 10th in the French classification).
* For each country, five to ten specialized travel forums were selected from the most popular, totaling several million comments over five years.
